Ireland - West Coast

As we approach Ballyvaughan on Galway Bay we spot, yes you guessed it, another castle ruin. It was a medieval Tower House built in the 1400s and was inhabited up until the 1800s. The stone-built Muckinish Castle ruin looks about four storeys high.
